Brave Enough To Fail.

My accent worryingly resembles a typical males, I lack the ability to pronounce the word 'the', and I enjoy a pint just as much as the next middle-aged man.

I’m still in touch with a girl I used to know from when I lived in Belgium, and I’ve just recieved her yearly updates in a letter. Bless, she does point out that her ‘school English is bad’ but these are some of the best lines from the letter:

  • “My job is to take her on Fridays, i take her at home and i give her fruit”
  • “She has a boyfriend at the weekends to have some money. It’s ok with her.”
  • “We went on the trein, and visited some curiosities. It was very fine.”
  • “During the week i can’t look at her, I work the hole time”
  • “She is always studiing. It the last year. It difficult. She always stressed. Nervous. Not good for her. Not for us too.”

AND my all time fave……….

  • “Hope to look you all time soon, have not a good year 2012”
